The thin glass breath and chemical sighs,
Make a free form melody in their eyes,
The needle nights, spinning webs round his head,
Make him wonder if he'll keep running till he's dead,
All the tramps slithering in the road,
Build their houses from the crumbled walls of Jericho,
And down by the riverside, they smoke and twist their hair,
The lights are so turned on, but there's nobody home to care,
Dry mouth mornings in the temple of the thief,
Allows the ghost child one more chance to speak,
As he sharpens his view, and throws his arms wide open,
He swallows all the words best left unspoken,
He turns it all inward, the fault must h
Sing me a song little one,
Oh make it tried and true,
Sing me a song little one,
For once was I like you,
Tell me of true joy little one,
And smile through the tune,
Tell me of true joy little one,
For once was I like you,
Make not haste little one,
Time knows not wasted use,
Make not haste little one,
For once was I like you,
Live your life little one,
To no-one must you prove,
Live your life little one,
For Im whats awaiting you,
My bones they ache me little one,
And a lyric would so soothe,
My mind is breaking little one,
To think of when I was you.
Im in a town that drags me down,
With daggers in mens smiles,
And sympathy long beneath the ground,
Where the arms that hold,
Are the tongue that scolds,
So bold to express
What one can withhold,
The inner safe is neither safe nor does it bring peace,
It provokes its brothers to surface wildly,
But what can we change?
Im in a mood I cannot prove,
For in anger a smile still breaks,
To think of you and the webs you weave,
Though you deceive still I believe,
In love and heavenly skies,
And all other wonderful lies,
Which pry into humble hearts,
To invoke complacent security,
In what we cannot change,

Til The World Can Spin No More
I need your pick me up,
I need your hold me down,
I need your knowing love,
I need your distant smile,
I need to be with you,
Like I need the day,
Win or lose,
I'll always feel the same,
Cause this night ain't so long,
And the day is sure to break,
So lay down with me, a while and see,
I wanna give you all I take,
I want to paint you in the heavens,
And roll around on god's own shore,
I wanna love you till the world can spin no more,
I feel your beating heart,
I feel your writhing joy,
I feel it building up,
I know it must come down,
I hear you call my name,
Burning like the gates of hell,
Lost in ecstacy,
Tolling like a
The blackened hands turn right around,
The centerpiece beyond the glass,
The bold numbers outside their grasp,
Grow larger as the time's elapsed,
And what these minutes lead me to,
Some decadence from tow'ring heights,
Peace within her loving arms,
And life within her loving eyes,
And should I wait a thousand years,
And pick petals of a thousand flowers,
Never would I find a heart like hers,
Or culture love as strong as ours,
So let me wait one minute more, one hour if it's what I must,
Our love is timeless, infinite, and in her my time I do entrust.
Another sunrise on my bed,
Another morning in regret,
The clothes on my floor let me know where my dignity's gone,
As she walks out my door she smiles as she tuns to say so long,
I just wanna be left alone,
And I see her out with her new flame,
Sticking me cause she got no shame,
Well that hand you're holding used to be clasped in mine,
That hand you're holding will let you fall in time,
I just wanna be left alone,
I wasn't made for moving, for moving on,
I just wanna be left alone.
Didn't have to look too far,
To see it ain't always this hard,
Matter of fact it seems to be fine,
For everyone else,
Guess demons don't always stay,
On their side of the dirt do they?
And they been burning me,
For quite a while,
So I'm giving up,
Just give up on me,
Cause I've given up on everything,
I heard you call my name,
Yet I never came,
Paralyzed I couldn't respond,
Stuck in this foul line my mind keeps focusing on,
Cause I've seen the writing on the wall,
Saying life condemns us all,
So in my broken crawl I fall,
And lay there for the world to behold,
I'm giving up,
Just give up on me,
Cause I've given up on ever

Wheatit thrives, sturdy and hearty every year. It can grow in almost any climate, including harsh weather. Even if there is a poor harvest one year, fresh rains can renew it the next. I wish I could be like that.
At least, those were the thoughts running through my head one afternoon as I plowed my fields, the sun pelting down at me from above, when I notice an odd little man hobbling towards the end of my property. Man was hardly the right term. While clearly male in structure, this creature had bug eyes and long ears that stuck up. He was covered in coarse, gray fur and had thick black lips curled back into a smirk
Everything always happens so fast.
Next thing you know, youre sitting in your room wondering why it didnt last.
You dont smile or laugh anymore.
All you can think about is the day he walked out your door.
He left you for her, you cant get that though.
When he told you what happen and that he wasnt coming home, you knew youd never feel so low.
You did everything for him, but he wanted more.
Boys are that way, all of them, some just leave a bigger sore.

You cant come back to reality yet and realize he really is gone.

These histories are worked on the Time Scale of the Western Continents, which bases itself around the fall of the Yune Empire; which is considered year 0.
A.IM stands for Anno Imperia, referring to the number of years after the fall. And BA.IM stands for Before Anno Imperia, referring to how many years remain on the time scale before the fall.

I never was what you would call,
A good guy,
Not bad but all the same not the kind you'd bring home,
I never had much in the way,
Of good friends,
Knew a lot of people, but never seemed to get too close,
They said: I like drinkin' and I like smokin',
I like cheatin' and I like tokin',
I like hands around my neck,
I said: I like a girl but she don't know,
I been drivin' that lonesome road,
Lord I'm a super loser, man.
But I never let the things I do,
Get me down,
Don't try to explain nobody, why try to explain myself,
So I turn my back to the cold wind,
Pull my hat down,
Everyone's got to grow up, and what better time than now

It's been a while since I been on here, a lot's changed. Got a new job, rehearsing for the senior talent show at my school, and dealing with the attrocities and mediocracies of everyday life. But now I got a computer at my house y'all can expect more deviations, more activity, and much much more bitchin from yours truly. Dirtygenes is back baby!
Finally man, after a long ass time on dA, I've at last reache 1,000 pageviews. We've laughed, we've cried, we've looked at an aroused monkey(I'm not trying to be random, check the pic in my gallery), it's been fun and I appreciate all that have visited my humble gallery. So here's to another thousand, and possibly three more after that! Long live dA, and long live me, thank you.
Well big news for me anyways. I played my first gig today! I played my own arrangement of "Silent Night" (featuring, of course, a blistering solo) at a teachers christmas luncheon at my high school. It was amazing! I'm still so pumped I'm about to punch myself in the face just to feel something. Getting the applause was one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. And after I finished playing to the big crowd, I played "We Will Be Kings" and two songs I haven't put on here to small group of people, which got great reception. Now I'm seriously thinking of trying for an actual gig, in a club or something, it's a great time to be al
